A small little cafe but packs a big punch in taste! I got a latte and a almond cupcake and it was delicious a friend got a cappuccino and a bagel and she also loved it. My only reason for 4 stars is time, I got there around 8:20 and didn't leave till 9! It was very good and if they want to stay in business pick up the pace. I really wanted to put 5 stars but 40 minutes was just too much time Now about the food: The 2 coffees were amazing!!! The almond cupcake was very tasty and was also one of many different flavors. The bagel was soft and chewy on the inside and nice little crunch on the outside Bottom Line: Try this place! The food is great but be prepared to wait just a bit longer

Tried this place last month during lunch and had the breakfast sampler with pancakes, eggs and bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Bacon was crisped to perfection. Such a cute place! Can't wait to try other menu items. Only downside is that wish it had more seating to accommodate a larger crowd.

So they have new hours than what's on their takeout menu, ok fine. But you better not order anything after 730 because as I was told Tuesday night "we close at 8 and we have to clean the fryer" No sandwich for you! Personally I don't feel whomever answered the phone felt like making only 1 sandwich and a side salad (no fryer needed) so I took my money to slidders where I was happily served and the food was outstanding. And owners wonder why they go under. (And some don't)

This place is a true gem in the area. Everything is homemade, even the potato chips (which are wonderful). The soup, specifically the tomato basil, is superb. During our stay in the area I picked up scones each morning. We had some almond cupcakes as well which had a hint of anise... amazing. The seating isn't very comfortable if you're planning on staying a bit (they have free wifi so I worked for a morning), but it's fine for a quick meal. Also, the owner couldn't be nicer.

I always have to stop here everytime I am in Orlando area. Never thought I would be so addicted. I had Black Forest, pastrami. Steak, Cubano, tuna and are DELICIOUS! Tomato soup is WOW!!!!! I also leave with pastries:) You will not be disappointed with food.....promise

Loved The Black Forest Sandwich & the chips were delicious! I wish they had skim milk for lattes, but maybe next time. The owners were so friendly too. I will be back & can't wait to try other items!

Had lunch there Saturday after reading the reviews and it was great. My Girlfriend and I had the Club Sandwich with chicken breast and bacon, was probably the best I have ever had. They put it on the signature loaf and it was perfect. The side of chips on my plate were still warm from the fryer. Outstanding. Had the Churro flavored donut for desert, lots of flavor, just right!

I have been in here several times already, I'm a foodie and a chef myself, on my first visit I had the Cubano Sandwich, let me tell you this is the best Cuban sandwich I have tasted in orlando, and the bread they used on it is homemade which gives it a special touch, after I has a double shot of espresso, it was so good I asked the owner about it and it's locally roasted in LongWood, hooray Cafe 1739 for supporting local. On my second visit I had their burger and added gruyere cheese and Apple wood bacon, OMG Delicious, it is a patty that consists of 6 oz of ground chuck, brisket and short rib served on brioche with mayo, lettuce tomato and onion, garnishes with a pickle and grape tomato served with Delicious Chips, I asked and they give you the choice for soup or salad instead of the chips, also had a Nutella Frappe and I was in heaven!!! I don't know what they put in it but I will be back for another one soon. Took a Flan and a loaf of their 1739 bread for my wife which is also a chef and flan and bread are her favorite things and she fell in love with out being there yet. I'm not a sweet tooth but tried the flan, my grand mother was a chef and owned restaurants when I was growing up and I thought I would never taste a flan better than hers ever, after 36 years I finally did!!! This is a Cafe to go back to over and over again, even just for a loaf of bread to take home for dinner!!!! Sweet Cafe 1739 is unique and I hope they are here to stay...

Cuban sandwich was very good. Stopped in for breakfast which was good, but not great. It's very clean with freshly baked bread. The service was excellent both times I was there. Check the hours before you go because they shortened for the summer. Luckily, they opened a little early for us since we didn't know the hours changed. It's a friendly neighborhood place!

We had a chance to stop by on their opening day. I ended up getting The Black Forest sandwich and my wife got the Cafe Club sandwich. Both sandwiches came with kettle chips and were absolutely delicious. This is exactly what the area needed!

Being from Portland Oregon I always try to find the the little hidden treasure eateries. Now that I am here in Orlando this task is becoming a little more tricky. But. What an amazing find!!! I had the meat lovers omelette and it was delicious! Ham , bacon and pastrami. The pancakes! So fluffy. Like little clouds of heaven dusted with powder sugar! The eggs also very delicious. perfectly light. I really hope this little cafe can strive and achieve the following it deserves. Bravo. Can't wait to come back.

Had the Anytime Sandwich today for lunch. I've had the sandwich before, but today, I've determined that I like ham on it instead of bacon. Either way, tough call! Love this place and their fresh bread.

Came to have breakfast after Yelp reviews, and it lived up to its 5 stars. Friendly hospitality, owner came to greet is and chef was working the counter. Pancakes are THE BEST I have ever had!!! (Sorry Kekes). I cannot wait to try their sandwiches for lunch, menu looks so delicious.

stopped in opening day, got a strawberry tart. delicious! I've been back two days since then and I've gotten a smoothie and most recently their soup of the day - tomato basil. It was fantastic! I literally am so happy to have a place in winter garden that has fantastic soup, pastries, or even delicious simple smoothies.

I really, really, really hope that this bakery can escape the restaurant curse that seems to exist in this shopping center. They've only been open a week, yet there don't seem to be any apparent new restaurant kinks. The bakery is quaint, but it does have a small seating area and an intriguing menu. The cupcakes in the case looked very decadent and the drink menu has many varied choices I'd love to sample, but today I left with a loaf of 'soft bread,' which was recommended to me by the cashier, and a sampling of macarons. I'm a macaron snob. I sampled them for the first time in Paris - and fell in love. Not only have I sampled them all over Orlando (My French Cafe, Epcot, Le Macaron, Chewy Boba, etc.), I've also attempted to make them at home. I have not had a single macaron from a Florida establishment that I've found worthy of the calories, until today. I have no idea if they make them in house or if they are shipped - but these were delicious. Not Laduree, but the closest I've tasted - and for that I'm happy! The bread was awesome too - soft and sweet - it made an excellent sandwich. If everything else on their menu was as impressive of what I sampled today, then this place is truly something special. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Wow- Amazing! Upon arriving on a weekday around 8:30am, we were immediately greeted by a very courteous and friendly staff member. She answered all of my questions about the menu items. I watched a clean-cut in-house pastry chef bring a tray of fresh, beautiful strawberry tartlets to the pastry case. I settled on the Breakfast platter: scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and 3 pancakes. I also purchased coffee. We sat outside on the small patio, which has cafe tables and umbrellas. The staff member brought me my coffee, prepared as I had asked. Great coffee! Then she brought the food, and it was delicious. Far beyond any other local breakfast spots. The scrambled eggs were not run-of-the-mill. They were fluffy and creamy. The bacon was high-grade and perfectly cooked. The pancakes were simply incredible... Fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth, golden and delicious. Nothing like the rubbery, flavorless pancakes found at most places. The food at this cafe is better than what I would expect at a Four Seasons or at the Waldorf-Astoria and they have a good selection of food items to please different tastes (from pastries, bagels and light & healthy items to hearty, meaty omelets and platters). The service is truly outstanding as well. Toward the end of our meal, a manager came to ask us how everything was and we told him how pleased we were. I don't write many reviews, but I want this place to stick around. I think it could benefit from signage on Stoneybrook West Pkwy so potential customers know it's there. It may also need more seating indoors in the summer when not as many people will want to sit outside. Parking was not an issue. Give this place a try. You'll be delighted.

Great food but terrible service! I've been here many times but learned to order ahead otherwise you'll wait 30-40 minutes for breakfast. Sometimes they get the order right but usually something is missing. Several months ago they decided to be closed in Sunday which is ridiculous in such a residential area. Today I called to order and was put on hold 10 minutes and then told that they were busy and I was asked to call back later. Really?

Second time here. .tiny venue with a GIGANTIC selection and top notch flavor!! VERY reasonable prices. It is hands down my new favorite place. Have only had breakfast but other reviews rave about the sandwiches. The owner/chef has come out both times to check on us. Love it!!

Stopped by for lunch after reading Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. Small, but clean space; very inviting. Large selection of fresh pastries and cupcakes on display as we as fresh baked breads. I had the Black Forest Sandwich and a lemon cupcake. The owner came to see if I was enjoying the meal. He let me know that the bread was baked in - house with sustainable non-GMO flour and no added sugar. It was delicious. The chips were also homemade and very good. The lemon cupcake was superb! Extremely flavorful but not too sweet. An added bonus, it had poppy seeds. I will definitely be coming back for more.

This is a great little family-owned establishment! All orders are made to order and they're definitely tasty and not too salty. You can't go wrong with the Café Steak and the homemade chips! And save room for dessert because they've also got great macarons!

I just went to an early lunch here and really enjoyed it. My husband grew up in Winter Garden and has never been so I was excited to take one for the team and try it out. It is pretty small inside but their menu was great. Good, fresh food for breakfast and lunch. I ordered the Black Forest Ham sandwich with tomato basil soup and was thoroughly impressed. The soup was delicious and the fresh bread that the waitress brought out for me was perfect. The sauce on the Black Forest Ham sandwich was so good that I asked for an extra side of it! All of our food came out quickly and I loved the casual, mom & pop vibe of the restaurant. It was a great experience and I cannot wait to go back and try some of the delicious pastries they have on display as well as some of the yummy coffees they have listed on their menu too!

Noon on Saturday. Place had 6 tables. Place was half full. Very small. Simple menu. Couple in front of us ordered. Paid. No problem. We order. Lady sees our groupon and then announces it is an hour wait. An hour to spoon soup in a bowl and toss a salad? I looked around at the half empty restaurant and said an hour to pour soup? She said there were just too many call in orders to take in person orders in under an hour wait time. Well cancelled the groupon. First and last impression for me.

Their breakfast is amazing and plenty for two to share. The owner came out and gave us a sample of the hashbrowns made from potatoes imported from Holland. Absolutely delicious. Loving this quaint little establishment and wishing them much success. Updated 7/19/14: our favorite part of the breakfast platter was the thick bacon but they seemed to have swapped this out for regular bacon. A slight disappointment but the breakfast and service is far more superior than other establishment. Updated 5/9/15. They suddenly closed. So sad.

My wife works here, but absolutely no bias when I say it's the best gourmet sandwich shop in Orlando. The bread is made in house and all ingredients are fresh. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing. Nothing in the area compares. The size is enormous, 1 Cuban is suitable for two unless you are starving. In house and freshly made potato chips. Amazing drink selection of custom coffees, teas, and smoothies. Almost forgot the soups and salads, they are as great as anything on the menu. The dessert selection is unrivaled for any establishment of comparable size, or price, throughout Orlando.

Tried 1739 out this morning. Had the breakfast platter that includes 3 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon and 3 pancakes for $8. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was just blah...possibly a little undercooked and very thin, and the pancakes were very good. Will be back....and I am hoping they upgrade their bacon.

First time after moving here 3 months ago. Tiny little place with amazing Coffee. Ordered the 1739 sandwich for myself, pancakes for the boys and breakfast platter for my wife. I think only the owner is working so it's really fresh and made to order worth waiting a few minutes for. Pastries in the front look amazing even though we passed on the sweets (this time) Food arrived and it was AMAZING. The bread on the 1739 was the best I have ever eaten. wife and boys ate everything (rare). Homemade chips are a nice accent to the sandwich. A must visit

Great place for breakfast if you're in the Winter Garden area of Stoneybrook. I stopped by this morning in the mood for a hearty breakfast. As I looked around they had a case filled with sweet desserts as well as a case for savory pastries. I looked over their menu and after some hesitation I ordered the Cheesy Scrambled Eggs with Extra Bacon. I chose swiss cheese out of the options I was given and decided to add extra bacon for $2.99. These slices of Applewood bacon are thick and flavorful so I feel I got my money's worth. The eggs were fluffy but in need of some more salt as they tasted a bit bland despite of the swiss cheese. It was served with slices of Cuban bread, butter and a savory mini cupcake. It took longer than expected to pay because their WiFi was down and they couldn't run my card but after finishing my breakfast, they made several more attempts and it finally went thru. I am anxious to go there for lunch in order to try some of their sandwiches, especially the Cuban and the Anytime 1739 sandwiches. I also want to try some of their desserts which were staring me down me but I was able to fight off the temptation, too early in the morning for my sweet cravings. The interior is small but homey. It's very clean and they have 5 or 6 small tables. This restaurant is located in a plaza that consists of a day care center which you will see from the street (Stoneybrook Pkwy). I think the Cafe is a hangout for Winter Garden Police because there were a few of them eating when I arrived and they were helping themselves to plastic containers behind the counter. Look forward to coming back soon.

I'm in love with this new little family owned spot I just found. Took my mother here for breakfast and we both just absolutely loved the spot . We ordered a couple things and just shared. First we order a stack buttermilk / sour cream pancakes which came out as expected light a fluffy then we also order the Cubano Sandwich. Now this was just unbelievably AMAZING. I've had plenty of Cuban sandwiches before but this spot take the CAKE. They bake their own bread ! The pork was cooked perfectly and they paired it with fresh house made chips. Wow ! It's a must. Then we moved on to some desserts. We tried the Tres leche and Flan both delicious. The flan tho was so good we had to order extra piece to take home. I will deff be returning.

It seems like the owner is beginning to become overwhelmed since he is the only cook. Last time I went, the wait for the food was long. He also put chocolate chips on my pancakes which I did not like ( should of asked). They were out of many items, I believe he does all the shopping too and had not time to go shopping. Hope he can get the right help on board so he can concentrate on what he does best, baking and cooking.

Went here for the first time. It is a family owned coffee shop. Perfect place to spend time and enjoy delicious coffee, pastries, and omelettes. The owners/staff are very pleasant. It's worth the trip and we're definitely coming back.

This place has excellent eggs. I ordered a veggie omelet and it tasted like all the veggies had been sautéed before putting them in the omelet and were also very fresh! I also had a chocolate chip cookie and a croissant. Everything is homemade. Highly recommend

The Coke cupcake float is a must-try! I love the selection of breakfast, lunch and pastry items offered here. It's a small place, only about 8 tables total inside and outside.

I am so happy we found this place! Incredible breakfast, can't wait to come for lunch. We started off with a chocolate croissant and a latte. I haven't tasted a croissant as good as this since I visited Barcelona. The latte is made from roasted locally in Longwood and is amazing! We shared the breakfast platter which is a huge amount of food for $6.99...and the quality was unbelievable. The platter consisted of 3 pancakes, 3 strips of bacon and scrambled eggs. The pancakes are made with non GMO flour and have sour cream in the batter which made them incredibly light with a slight salty flavor that balanced perfectly with the sweetness. The bacon was crispy and had a great smoky flavor. The scrambled eggs which sounds boring at first were fluffy and rich and delicious. We cannot say enough good things about our first time at this location. The only drawback is that it's located dangerously close to our work location so it will be all too easy to stop in for more incredible foods!
